2023 Liturgical Ministry Retreat

On September 16, 2023, parishioners who serve as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, lectors, ushers, and greeters, came together for a retreat to reflect on the gift of the Mass and the Eucharist.

Michael Podrebarac, Consultant for Liturgy and Sacramental Life for the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, presented two talks: Overcoming a Crisis of Eucharistic Faith and The Fundamentals of the Mass.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and lectors who would like to continue to serve during the 2024 liturgical year are required to either attend the retreat in person or watch the talks online (below) and complete a short quiz.
