Dr. Michael Bauer will present an organ recital on Monday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 6308 Quivira Road, Shawnee, KS 66216.

The organ at Hope Lutheran is the Opus 21 of Austrian-American organ builder Martin Pasi. Mr. Pasi was commissioned to build the landmark Opus 14 at Omaha's Saint Cecilia Cathedral during the tenure there of our music director, Kevin Vogt. The story of the cathedral organ and the work of Martin Pasi is the subject of Dr. Vogt's doctoral dissertation, The Embodiment of Harmony.
