The St. Nicholas Choir is a liturgical choir for singers in grades 1-3 under the direction of Mrs. Emily Sweet. The choir rehearses on Mondays and Thursdays after school for 3 weeks prior to singing for the Parish Feast Day (end of September) and Divine Mercy Sunday (end of April).
The St. Michael Choristers is our liturgical choir for singers in grades 4-8, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Vogt. Musically advanced and mature 3rd graders may be allowed to participate with permission of the directors. Membership is ordinarily limited to 24 singers.
Our choristers receive a comprehensive musical, liturgical, and spiritual training. This training prepares them to sing at the 10:30 am Mass once or twice each month from October through May. In addition, the St. Michael Choristers sing at the 4:00 pm Mass on Christmas Eve and the 10:30 am Mass on Mother's Day.
Choristers rehearse before school three (3) mornings a week (T, W, F) during the school year from 7:15 - 7:50 am.
