Pack 3333 meets 1-2 times a month during the school year. Meetings are focused on having fun by earning adventure requirements. Flowing underneath all this fun and excitement is a character-building program that encourages making good ethical choices, faith & family strengthening, physical fitness, service, and citizenship skills in the lives of our boys. Duty to God is a fundamental part of Cub Scouts and we integrate our Catholic faith into all aspects of scouting. These efforts are supported by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting and The Archdiocese. In 2nd and 4th grade our scouts have the opportunity to earn Catholic religious medals which are awarded at mass on Scout Sunday.
There are camp opportunities and family activities/outings throughout the year such as Pinewood Derby, Scout Sunday, Summer Day Camp, Father/Son Chili Cook-off, etc.
If you’re interested in Cub Scouts or would like to be put on our e-mail list please contact John Koehler or Terrance Codd for more information or call the Parish Office at 913-402-3900.
Our Saint Michael’s Catholic Scouts celebrated “Scout Sunday” this past weekend, where multiple student-scouts from our American Heritage Girls, Cub Scouts, and Boy Scouts received various medals and achievements related to our Catholic Faith.
