At the heart of the Life Teen Leadership Conference is a generation of teens rising up and taking their faith seriously. They no longer want a “feel good” faith of watered-down Scripture; they crave depth, substance, and relationship. These teens are changing their parishes, their schools, and their families.  

Life Teen Leadership Conference (LTLC) strives to build leaders who are on mission for Jesus Christ. This is hands down one of the most impactful conferences we offer. Life Teen SMA wants to invest in these individuals and help them become the world-changers they were created to be.  For this reason, LTLC is only open to incoming Juniors and Seniors.

The Life Teen Leadership Conference is a dynamic, prayerful, and impactful week of talks and activities that help teens become the leaders and disciples that God is calling them to be. We believe in empowering this new generation with practical leadership skills, but not without first teaching them how to be a disciple. Teens will have time to adore the Lord in Eucharistic Adoration, participate in powerful worship, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, gain practical leadership skills, and meet other teens from across the country who are committed to discipleship and evangelization.
 

Who Attends?

This conference is for rising juniors and seniors along with our youth ministers. Teens from parishes across the country attend, right here in our backyard. The conference is designed for teens to attend only once, as we invest in our teens leadership development to be equipped as missionary disciples for our Life Teen SMA Community. We recognize that young leaders are only as strong as the community that surrounds them, our youth ministers, religious sisters, and priests have ample time to be with our teens throughout the week to invest in personal relationships and develop strategies to reach every teen at SMA with an opportunity to encounter Christ.

Because of the limited spots (16 teens) for this trip, we ask that each interested student fill out a The Crew Application. If you are accepted and invited, you will commit to monthly formation and planning nights as part of The Crew (Life Teen's Peer Leadership Team).

LOCATION

LTLC is held on the beautiful campus of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. We sleep in the dorms on campus and all meals except for the arrival and departure lunch are on campus in the dining center. 

Accommodations are provided for all groups on campus at Benedictine College. Males and females are housed separately. Pillows are available for all participants but pillowcases, sheets, blankets, and towels are not provided.

SCHEDULE - June 24th to June 28th

We depart from St Michaels around 9 am on Monday. Arrive in Atchison in time to check in and then head to lunch as just our parish group. The conference begins with an opening session Monday afternoon. Tuesday through Thursday are full of required morning bible studies, general sessions, daily Mass, breakouts, parish download, and free time. Friday after breakfast is closing Mass and then into a final general session. We will return back to SMA around 1:30 pm.
