Reconciliation is the sacrament in which sins committed after Baptism are forgiven. It results in reconciliation with God and the Church. (US Catholic Catechism for Adults, Glossary)

Haven't been to Reconciliation in a long time?
Welcome back! You can come to confession at any time. If you haven't made your confession in awhile, just tell the priest how long it's been and he'll talk you through the process. If you are still nervous about it, make an appointment with one of our priests so they can walk you through it and give you more advice and counsel. Call the Parish Office office at 913-402-3900 and we'll get you in touch with one of our priests.
Does your child need to receive their First Reconciliation?
Children typically receive their First Reconciliation in the 2nd grade. Parish school children receive formation in school. Public school and Homeschool children receive formation in Religious Education classes. If your child needs to receive this sacrament, please contact Shawna Davidson in the Catechesis office, or go HERE for more information.
Do you, as an adult, need to receive First Reconciliation?
Adults in need of First Reconciliation will need to go through the RCIA process.
