Let another parishioner know that they are thought of by their parish family. You can adapt the gift bag to the Liturgical year or season (some examples: Feast Days, Holidays, Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter).
Download the flyer and assemble a small gift bag with items like prayer cards, rosaries, puzzles, word searches, stickers, prepackaged treats, etc. and deliver both the flyer and the small gift bag to a parishioner you know. This is just a little but impactful, way to help bring a smile to our parish family!
This is a new program at St. Michael. For addtional information see our Prision Outreach ministry page.

Egg Cartons Needed for Food Pantry
Do you have an eggstra egg carton? Catholic Charities food pantry in Olathe often receives boxes of eggs from grocery stores. They are in need of replacement egg cartons to help with food distribution. (Dozen size cartons are prefered.) Please drop them off at the Parish Office.
Shalom House opens its doors to 24 men of all faiths in need of shelter, food and companionship. Services are provided at no charge and include a safe place to sleep, eat dinner and breakfast, shower (toiletries and other necessities provided), do laundry and get clothing. In addition, men get employment assistance as well as referrals for medical care.
Volunteers are the cornerstone of Shalom House’s ability to provide services to these men in need of help. Each evening, volunteer groups from families, churches, community organizations, civic groups and companies prepare, serve and share dinner with the guests. There are certain dates open each month for groups to buy, prepare and serve a meal. Dinner is served from roughly 6-8pm each night. Dinner drop offs are also welcomed at this time.
