This is a ministry team that welcomes new members on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each week after the 9 a.m. Mass.  This ministry is responsible for welcoming new and prospective members, sharing information about St. Michael and supplying all the paperwork necessary for new members to get started at St. Michael the Archangel.  The priests also come down and introduce themselves and speak about the parish.

The New Member Welcome meeting takes place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each week after the 9 a.m. Mass in the St. St. Raphael Room on the lower level of the Church. When you help on a Sunday morning, it takes about 30 to 45 minutes of your time.

All new members of the parish are invited to our New Member Socials that occur 3 times a year.  These events take place on a week night at the rectory.  Any new members who have joined in the past few months are invited to come, meet the priests and mingle with other new members. There are also members of various committees present so new members can learn about all the ways they can be involved at St. Michael.

Volunteers for this ministry help serve food, greet people as they come into the rectory, mingle with the guests and clean up at the end of the night.  These events are scheduled for 6:30-8pm, but as volunteer your commitment would be closer to 6-8:30pm to help with clean-up and set-up.
